![]() There are very few buttons on the remote: Power, Home, Directions, OK(Enter), Back, view/list, Volume and mouse/menu switcher. The remote doesn't feel flimsy or cheap, but batteries are NOT included (2xAAA). For those of you who are not comfortable or don't like the extra socket length due to the converter, you can use an old phone adapter (I am using an old iPhone 4S adapter). On a side package, the dealer (Tinydeal) has included a EU->US adapter for North American users. The Power adapter that came with the unit is equipped with a EU Plug (circular) meant for Eurpoean and Asian power Sockets, so I am guessing the box was built initially for Asian and European customer base. ![]() Power Adapter (EU USB adapter and USB Power cord) (Inside the box, it reads "Welcome to use Tronfy Products.") There were tons of spelling and grammar errors on the box, which gave us a good laugh. The packaging is actually very nice comparing to a lot of other Chinese products I have purchased in the past. I added $8 for express post, which i really should not have as I got charged $16 for COD/customs, but the box came within 6 business days (via DHL) After a coupon code popped up, I decided to give it a try (I was planning to get the Nexus TV, but this is cheaper and more powerful.and less restrictions.) When I was browsing through to learn about Elephone Smart Phones (because of the new Asus phone), I came across this Tronfy MXIV Android box, which advertised as having Kodi pre-installed and that caught my eyes. It ran smoothly initially, but it started giving me lag spikes, and it is extremely slow when browsing through new repository menus. I got the Dlink Boxee Box back a year ago when it was on sale (refurbished) at Bestbuy.ca. I have always wanted an Android TV Box for Kodi/XBMC. I have also installed Kodi on my Galaxy S5, which I connect via HDMI to my TV. I own a Nexus 7 Gen 1 tablet, and I have installed Kodi on multiple computers. I currently use SuperRepo (for all my Asian drama) and TVAddons (all other) I don't have a lot of experience with Android TV boxes, but I currently own a Boxee Box which was originally meant to run Kodi, and I also own a TV Pad gen 1 and 2, WD TV Live and Asus O!Play. I am NOT a professional reviewer, and I only do this for fun, so hopefully the review is informative and able to help those who are deciding to purchase an Android box. I purchased a Tronfy MXIV from Tiny Deal last week and a few members asked me to provide feedback, so here we go.
