While the shootouts and melees are competently filmed, there are never any special set pieces that give any scenes a memorable series of events, all of the action becomes a blur. Sizemore is solid, giving off his usual charm and energetic attitude to a snappy character that would have been worse without him. Payne brings life to a lumbering film, with commanding delivery and a steely gaze piercing the other characters. Performances are mixed, Snipes does fine with the material but never elevates it with emotion or passion. ![]() Sly is entertaining, not a deep character, but he does have some good lines, lots of charisma, and has a prior relationship with John. Rane is completely over-the-top, having killed his father and has a massive ego partially because of it. Although this does not make much sense because John is bad at dealing with flights, and knows the ins and outs of planes, despite being secret service and not directly related to aviation. ![]() He left his secret security job and became an instructor for flight attendants, showing them how to defend themselves. John used to have a wife until she was killed in a grocery store robbery. The Characters: Characters are pretty mediocre. John must take down Rane with next to no help. John is separated from the plane and ends up with Biggs (Lively), a police chief who does not trust him. Rane and his people take over the flight and John brings it down. ![]() On board are flight attendants Marti (Datcher) and Sabrina (Hurley), who is working with Rane. John boards a flight to follow up on the offer the same flight that the FBI is using to take Rane to prison. Shortly after, John (Snipes) is approached by his old friend Sly (Sizemore) on behalf of Ramsey (Greenwood) who wants John to be vice president of security for an airliner. Just before Rane (Payne), a prolific terrorist, is about to get his face reconstructed to escape authorities, they apprehend him. The Plot: Passenger 57’s plotting should be very familiar to anyone who has seen more than 4 action movies. It follows a retired Secret Service officer who must take action when the plane he is travelling on is seized by terrorists. Passenger 57 was directed by Kevin Hooks (Black Dog, Fled), written by David Loughery ( Shattered, Dreamscape), Stewart Raffill (Tammy and the T-Rex, High Risk) and Dan Gordon (Murder in the First, Tank), and stars Wesley Snipes (Demolition Man, Blade), Bruce Payne ( Pit Stop, The Rizen), Tom Sizemore ( Project Skyquake, Megalodon Rising), Alex Datcher (The Expert, Rage and Honor), Bruce Greenwood (Spectral, Star Trek Into Darkness), Elizabeth Hurley (Bedazzled, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery), Robert Hooks (Trouble Man, Airport ’77), and Ernie Lively (Showdown in Little Tokyo, Hard to Kill).

Investigations using retrospective chart reviews or health record reviews have been reported to comprise 25% of all scientific articles in emergency medical journals ( Worster & Haines, 2004). Heart, soul and - as it happens - demons. ![]() "I take a lot of pride in my work," said Gordon. Doom Eternal's Original Soundtrack Album released last week with some questionable mastering - with Gordon stressing that he had very little hand in the album's final state and that he felt just as confused and concerned over the audio mixing. All rights go to Mick Gordon and his team. ![]() PLEASE NOTE: I do not own the music to DOOM Eternal the music was made by Mick Gordon and not me. FLAC is optional however and there is a 2nd branch with mp3s if that suits your tastes. This fellow has worked on a lot of previous Bethesda games including Wolfenstein and the new Doom Eternal. DOOM Eternal OST (Game Rip) Game-Rip of DOOM Eternal OST in FLAC format. It's also a fairly common trick for ARGs, as Valve demonstrated back in 2010 by hiding musical ASCII art in the run-up to Portal 2.īut while Gordon might've snuck in enough demonic imagery to induce a good ol' 90s moral panic, the composer apparently didn't quite have complete control over his music. The Doom original game soundtrack is a master work by the musician Mick Gordon. It's hardly the first time Gordon's hidden satanic works in his music - Doom 2016's soundtrack was full of these, hiding pentagrams and beastly numbers and that Doom 2 sprite of John Romero's impaled, severed head. The image can be viewed through audio analysis software like Sonic Visualiser, tools that let you dig deep into audio files like a cultist uncovering arcane musical secrets. It might even be a more affecting rendition of that metal-as-hell image, an off-colour reflection summoned into your eardrums by unknowable (for me, at least) audio techno-wizardry. A big part of the games success came from its soundtrack, composed by Mick Gordon, who also worked on Doom 2016 and the recent Wolfenstein titles. Crushed by compression and colour limitations lurks Doom 2's cover art, hidden inside the track "Welcome Home Great Slayer". The Doom Eternal soundtrack rocks, but its also a victim of severe audio compression, a painful blemish over which composer Mick Gordon had no control. As pointed out by RPS fanzine PC Gamer, the folks over on the Doom Subreddit found that Eternal's nostalgia runs deeper still. But from hell on Earth to colossal demonic goat-boss The Icon of Sin, it's fair to call it a strong homage to Doom 2. As any Doom player knows, a good chunk of the visceral joy and laser-like focus that arise while ripping and tearing your way through demons is due to the game's heavy soundtrack. But beyond all the blood and bass and demonic incantations, audiophiles have found Doom 2's cover art embedded in the very roots of Mick Gordon's heavy metal soundtrack.ĭoom Eternal isn't a literal retreading of Id Software's 1994 sequel. It's only natural that Doom's soundtrack contains a little bit of hell in kind. The rhythmic bass blasts of super-shotguns, tinny chaingun power solos, verses punctuated by gory breaks and technical fingerwork. There's more than a bit of metal in Doom Eternal. I buried the rest in a shallow grave, so the Sunset name made sense. I was brave enough to take down 1.5 bowls of the 1oz I bought, before just tossing it. Grab a long match to start burning through the shell, then get ready for that muck, muckity smoke which is tooth shatteringly sweet, yet flat and unsatisfying at the same time. Grab some gloves and dip into this sticky mess of spongy what-not that used to be tobacco. The waves of sweet (vanilla/caramel? - sure why not) vapors kind of have a hint of rum for the imaginative type, but at the end of the road is a bowl Cocoa Puffs that has been fermenting in the hot sun. You can smell a bag of this drenched, flavor sprayed, stuff a mile away. Pipe Used: Aldo Velani Duke, Ukrainian Pear Wood, MM Cob Just enough flavorings to make it enjoyable, but not over the top like some Aromatics and it's an all day smoke. This is a tobacco I would recommend to them as they build up to more bodied tobaccos. When I review on TR, I try to make my reviews something the "newbie" or less experienced piper can gain something from. Very mild, and finishes pretty well on the palate all the way through each bowl I've enjoyed. It does burn cool, but of course that depends on the smoker and the vessel. No bite, but I would definitely not smoke this too fast because of the moisture content, which I'm sure would then give it a bite. The Rum is apparent and just enough to balance out the caramel and vanilla. The first few puffs yielded a very nice flavor that was sweet, with just a little saltiness (probably the caramel casing) but nothing overwhelming. The room note is really, really nice, kinda soothing. After packing a bowl, and lighting it, it ignited right away and for the most part stayed ignited throughout each bowl. So 3 years later it's still the same except instead of the bag it was shipped in, it's been in a mason jar. Very mild, with really decent flavor to it, would fit in my early morning rotation". I picked this up about 3 years ago, and the notes I made say: "very, very moist out of the bag, aroma is nice, typical of Altadis tobacco. ![]() I have a HUGE cellar of tobaccos and every now and then I take something out to smoke that I either forgot I had, or for whatever reason just didn't want to smoke it.
